His background includes senior culinary roles within some of Ireland’s leading hospitality properties including Adare Manor and The Merrion Hotel Dublin, alongside experience in Michelin-recognised kitchens including Patrick Guilbaud and Pichet Restaurant Dublin, where he worked as Senior Sous Chef during its Michelin Bib Gourmand period.
John is now owner and operator of Harrow Restaurant Killarney, while also specialising in relaxed luxury private dining and retreat catering experiences throughout Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way.
His private dining experiences combine modern seasonal menus with warm Irish hospitality and are tailored for luxury villas, wellness retreats, family gatherings, golf groups, celebrations, and destination stays.
His approach focuses on high-quality seasonal ingredients, approachable modern cooking, elegant presentation, and creating memorable guest experiences designed around each individual group.
