Two wings. Two ways to gather. Always facing the lake.
At Caragh Lake House, both living spaces are designed to bring people together - in a cosy corner, beside the fire, or simply in quiet appreciation of the view. Each wing offers its own atmosphere, its own pace, yet both are united by generous light, soft textures, and the ever-present water beyond the glass.

The Oak Wing
Spacious. Light-filled. At the heart of the house.
The main living area in the Oak Wing is a place to stretch out, settle in, and stay a while. Its oak floors and 5-metre floor-to-ceiling glass doors open directly onto lawned gardens and Caragh Lake beyond. A wide terrace runs the length of the house, perfect for dining at sunset or stepping out for morning coffee.
Open-plan sitting room with wood-burning stove
Views west across the lake and wooded hills
Adjoining formal dining room with 3-metre picture window
Large, newly fitted kitchen
Warm, tactile materials—stone, timber, linen, and light
This is the social centre of the house: long conversations, slow dinners, and quiet evenings by the fire.

The Birch Wing
Quieter. Self-contained. A place to retreat.
Beyond the main sitting room, the Birch Wing holds its own living space - smaller, softer, more secluded. Ideal for extended family or guests seeking a little independence, it still opens toward the lake, with light filtering in.
Combined sitting, dining, and kitchen area
Clean-lined white kitchen units - fully fitted
Cosy furnishings and lake-facing windows
Close to three bedrooms, two of which are en suite
This space invites a slower rhythm: early risers, afternoon readers, or a private meal for two.
